Paulos Feerow is a Stand Up comedian who was raised in Dallas, Texas. Paulos started Stand Up in 2012, and is a regular performer around the DFW metroplex. He has opened for traveling headliners such as Phoebe Robinson (HBO), Sam Jay (HBO), Baron Vaughn (Netflix), James Adomian (ABC), Aparna Nancherla (Comedy Central), Emily Heller (HBO), Sasheer Zamata (SNL), Godfrey (HBO), and Paul Rodriguez. He has performed at the Dallas Comedy Festival, “The New Negroes” at UCB Franklin, and was a finalist in the Los Angeles Scripted Comedy Festival produced by iO West in Los Angeles.
Paulos currently produces the “The Playground” at Stomping Ground and co-produces the “PHiB Comedy Series” with Baron Vaughn (Grace and Frankie and MST3K on Netflix) at Amphibian Stage in Ft Worth.
Paulos has co-wrote and performed sketch revues with groups “Fraud City” and “FCC Presents.” With the members of Fraud City, he helped write “Law and Order: The SVUsical,” and co-wrote and produced several FCC Presents sketch revues. Is there assigned seating?

All seating is General Admission except for members who have reserved seating included in their membership package. We recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to the show to find your seats.

Is there a dress code?

Come as you are! (Shoes and shirts required). We’re glad to have you.

Can I bring food or drink into the theatre?

We do not permit outside food and drink inside the theater. We sell snacks, water, soda, and alcoholic beverages at the bar in the lobby.

Are accessible seating options available?

Our venue is ADA Accessible and there is accessible seating available in the theatre. Please let our box office know ahead of time so we may accommodate your needs.

Her stand-up was featured on several episodes of the show “Laughs” which was broadcast on Fox, Hulu and FuseTV. She was also a featured stand-up in the ViceTV documentary “Funny How?” hosted by comedy historian Kliph Nesteroff. Lauren was a finalist at Westside Showdown, voted Best in Fest at Burbank Comedy Festival, and was a recurring performer at SF Sketchfest. Known for burning her proverbial bra and bridges in her Sisyphian quest to make DFW comedy a safe space for women, Lauren is delighted to be performing at the Amphibian Theater once again as they go above and beyond in their mission to create a fair and inclusive space for performers.

Lauren is also a sketch and improv performer who trained and performed at UCBLA, Groundlings, the Magnet Theater, Dallas Comedy House and Four Day Weekend. She was a house team performer and taught at the PIT NY, and created and taught the stand-up comedy program at the Dallas Comedy House. She can be seen performing with her improv teams “Kirsten Dunst” and “Bonobos” at theaters around DFW.

Lauren is a contributing script writer for the Emjoy app, an audio app which creates empowering erotic stories for women and nonbinary people. This is not the first stand-up residency to balance these two mediums; Jacqueline Novak ironed out Get On Your Knees at Amphibian Stage before it arrived Off-Broadway to critical acclaim (featured in “The New York Times Best of Theatre and Best of Comedy” in 2019). Gabe comes to Fort Worth after an extended run of his debut set Solo at Soho Playhouse in Manhattan. His new project, Deductible, takes aim at the US healthcare system.

Grace & Frankie star Baron Vaughn returns to Amphibian Stage for the third time since creating the residency series back in 2017. After starting this unique opportunity for stand-up artists, many big-name comedians–including Aparna Nancherla, Phoebe Robinson, River Butcher, and Sasheer Zamata–have come through Amphibian Stage.

He’s been featured on 2 Dope Queens, Conan, and co-created “The New Negroes with Baron Vaughn & Open Mike Eagle” for Comedy Central. You can also hear his silky voice as “Tom Servo” in Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Dusti Rhodes uses her experience as a former ugly kid, journalist, awkward adult, and teacher to bring a unique and highly personal comedic performance to the stage. She has done stand-up throughout the country, including being featured on Comedy at the Knitting Factory, Come and Take It Comedy Take Over, and Free Press Summer Fest.

She has opened for big names like Micheal Che, Demetri Martin, Maria Bamford, Janeane Garofalo, and Anthony Jeselnik. Dusti hosts the Houston Moth StorySLAM, Rudyard’s Comedy Open Mic (named the best weekly comedy show in Houston by various publications), Wheelhouse: a Stand Up Comedy Game Show, and Hot Brunch: Comedy & Drag! Occasionally, she sleeps

Paulos Feerow is a Stand Up comedian who was raised in Dallas, Texas. Paulos started Stand Up in 2012, and is a regular performer around the DFW metroplex. He has opened for traveling headliners such as Phoebe Robinson (HBO), Sam Jay (HBO), Baron Vaughn (Netflix), James Adomian (ABC), Aparna Nancherla (Comedy Central), Emily Heller (HBO), Sasheer Zamata (SNL), Godfrey (HBO), and Paul Rodriguez. He has performed at the Dallas Comedy Festival, “The New Negroes” at UCB Franklin, and was a finalist in the Los Angeles Scripted Comedy Festival produced by iO West in Los Angeles.
Paulos currently produces the “The Playground” at Stomping Ground and co-produces the “PHiB Comedy Series” with Baron Vaughn (Grace and Frankie and MST3K on Netflix) at Amphibian Stage in Ft Worth.
Paulos has co-wrote and performed sketch revues with groups “Fraud City” and “FCC Presents.” With the members of Fraud City, he helped write “Law and Order: The SVUsical,” and co-wrote and produced several FCC Presents sketch revues. (The Wrong Party, Party Already in Progress, The Party is Just Getting Started)
