Aparna Nancherla

Stand-Up Comic Residency

Amphibian Stage is thrilled to welcome back the brilliant and hilarious Aparna Nancherla. Her 2019 visit helped boost this now-renowned and beloved program, where nationally recognized comics bring brand-new material to life right here in Fort Worth.

Known for her signature dry, existential, and absurd humor, Aparna is an acclaimed comedian, writer, and actor whose credits span Netflix, HBO, Audible, Comedy Central, and beyond. Her recent book Unreliable Narrator: Me, Myself, and Impostor Syndrome earned rave reviews, with The Los Angeles Times calling the book a “super-smart, deliciously readable, achingly poignant…new collection of essays.”

Catch her new material now before this material becomes everyone’s favorite comedy special. Fort Worth gets it first!
